Sample Tour:

Golf, Gardens & Antiques in the Cotswolds

Duration: 6 nights/7 days

Based: The Cotswolds (5 nights), London (1 night)

Monday

Arrive London Heathrow or Gatwick where we will meet and escort you to your hotel in the Cotswolds. Rest and relax prior to a welcome reception and dinner at the hotel, your base for the next five nights.

Tuesday

To the Witney Lakes Golf Course where we have arranged a work out in the gym with one of their qualified fitness instructors and a 2-3 hour golf academy with the resident PGA qualified professional. Time to hone up your skills on the driving range and on the putting & chipping greens. Relax with a few lengths in their adults only swimming pool, or take time out in the spa bath steam room and sauna.

Suitably refreshed and loosened up, spend the afternoon browsing through the antique shops close to your hotel.

Wednesday

You're itching to get out on the golf course and we've lined up the first tee off times at the privately owned Naunton Downs. Afternoon, a mixture of antique hunting and an afternoon cuppa and cakes with one of the owners of a nearby beautiful garden.

Thursday

More golf, this time at the Lynham Course (also privately owned). Afternoon much as yesterday perhaps taking in Beckford Silk Mills and the gardens at either Hidcote Manor or Kiftsgate Court .

Friday

With jetlag behind you and in the golfing groove, you're ready for today's mini Ryder Cup at the Witney Lakes Resort. The competition will occupy most of the day and will conclude with an awards dinner, a cup for the winners, medals for each player, and mild hangovers for all.

Saturday

Depart for London with a 2-3 hour pause perhaps in the university city of Oxford . This evening you're on your own. Theatre tickets and/or restaurant reservations can be made in advance. Overnight London (1 night).

Sunday

Airport transfers and independent extensions.
