Key to abbreviations:
License - "Divemaster" means that there is a licensed dive professional aboard who will supervise the diving. A Divemaster cannot certify a new diver and cannot lead non-certified divers. An "Instructor" can also supervise diving, since Divemaster is a lower level of certification among dive professionals. Only an Instructor can teach a new or uncertified diver and certify them as a diver, or add levels of specialization to an already certified diver. Only Instructors can teach a Resort Course.
Cost of diving - price is for certified divers;
pp = per person
pd = per dive.
Cost of Instruction - "O/Water" or "O/W" is for an Open Water Referral, where the guests do the pool and classroom portions with a local dive shop at their convenience anytime before coming down to the islands. They then complete their certification with the yacht for that fee.
"Full" is for all portions of the Open Water Certification: Classroom, Confined Water Training, and Open Water Certification Dives.
Resort course - Instruction which allows an uncertified diver to dive under supervision after an abbreviated class. Several yachts provide 1 or 2 dives with this course, after that there may be an additional charge for additional dives.
Gear - # of sets provided by yacht, or need to rent.
Max # of Dives - This is the # of dives included in the Cost of Diving price. Dives beyond this will be at an extra charge, if the crew feels they can fit them into the schedule.
